15 Ways to Enjoy Those Steps

There’s lots of ways to get into shape, but usually any trainer will tell you that doing steps is the best way of keeping it fit. You see people jogging through the park or at the gym, but steps? I have to say I see much more kids or artist working on what they call street art than working out, but how about a blend of the two? I’m guessing you’re gonna love going up and down on these particular steps, beautifully decorated by street artists and regular people alike.

Most of these unique locations can only be appreciated when viewed from a certain vantage point, so you just have to be there. Some of these modern pieces of art were born out of community efforts; when the Rainbow steps in Turkey were first painted over by the local government, nearby communities painted their own steps as well. The mosaic steps in San Francisco were created by more than 300 local people under the careful guidance of a couple of artists. And similar projects keep popping up all over the place, so try to keep up.
