Many people complain about advertisements, and I’m one of them. It’s just a nasty way for companies to invade our everyday lives and cram their products down our throats, whether we like it or not. But the fact of the matter is that we sometime need advertisements to keep us in check and remind us of the social environment and rules we must obey, in order to insure others enjoy their lives, on a daily basis.
A well-made advertisement is designed to grab your attention and to remain in your memory long after you’ve left it behind, and that is exactly what many of these social causes needed. Getting people to think and worry about various social and environmental issues is important for raising public awareness. Over the years, some were a bit more useful than others, not to mention shocking. But, hey: if it works, it’s OK in our book. Check it out!
