Mount Kinabalu in Sabah is 4095 meters above sea level and is one of the tallest mountains in Southeast Asia. Every year thousands of tourists flock down to the island of Borneo to climb this majestic mountain. The journey takes 2 days with an early climb the next morning, to catch the spectacular sunrise. It’s definitely worth it!

Looking like a movie set from Star Wars, this place can actually be found in Turkey, in a town called Nevsehir. The ancient settlers built their houses and churches underground creating an amazing lunar like surface which is best viewed from the air in a hot air balloon.

The view is spectacular; there’s even a legend which says that on the day seven sisters marry seven brothers from the Lysefjord are, the two plateau will crumble upon itself and fall into the fjord below creating a huge wave that will destroy all life surrounding the area.
